RRB ALP CBAT Exam Date 2025: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially confirmed that the RRB ALP CBAT Exam Date 2025 was held on 15th July 2025. This Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) is the final stage of the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) recruitment process, which is conducted after successfully clearing the CBT-2 exam. The result of CBAT has a significant impact on the final merit list, so this exam is decisive for selection in Indian Railways. Now, after the exam is over, candidates can prepare for document verification and further processes.

Here are several important announcements made by the RRBs in the last few days:
- The CBAT was conducted on 15th July 2025.
- For the candidates whose examination was affected due to technical problem, especially Center Code 14439 (Shift 2) and others where the examination could not be conducted, the re-examination will be held on 31st August 2025.
- Candidates appearing for the re-examination will be issued a new admit card, which will be valid only for August 31. The old admit card of July 15 will not be valid.
- City intimation slip for re-examination can be downloaded from 22nd August.
All these updates are applicable only to those candidates whose exam was affected due to technical reasons.

Who will appear for CBAT re-exam?
The re-examination to be held on August 31, 2025 is only for those candidates whose CBAT of July 15 was interrupted or cancelled due to technical glitches. Other candidates who had the opportunity to complete the July 15 exam without any problem need not appear for the re-examination. Eligible candidates will be able to download the new admit card from August 28 and the new city intimation slip from August 22.
Travel and Document Checklist (for re-examination)
If you are appearing for the re-exam on August 31, keep these points in mind:
- Download the new admit card and take a clear printout, the old admit card is not valid.
- Download City Intimation Slip from 22nd August.
- Plan your travel in advance and try to reach a day before to reach the exam centre on time.
- It is mandatory to bring Aadhar Card or valid e-Aadhar as there will be biometric verification in the exam.
- Bring only necessary documents and pens to the test center – electronic devices, notes, and calculators are prohibited.
